Data as of October 1, 2026. This article is educational content and does not constitute financial advice. NLP rewards are not fixed or guaranteed, and your deposit can lose value.
It is not a savings account — the reward is not fixed or guaranteed, and the value of your deposit can rise or fall depending on how the vault’s strategies perform.
Why does Nado need the NLP Vault?
Whenever traders buy or sell on Nado, they need enough liquidity on the other side of their trades. More liquidity helps traders get smoother execution and reduces the gap between expected and actual fill prices. NLP supports this by using deposited USDT0 across strategies such as market-making and perpetual-position liquidations. In simple terms: traders use the liquidity, while NLP depositors help provide the capital behind it.
Where do the rewards come from?
NLP does not pay a fixed interest rate. Its performance can come from activities including:
Providing liquidity through market-making strategies
Participating in eligible perpetual liquidations
Other distributions generated by the vault’s trading strategies
For example, when NLP participates in a liquidation, it may take over a perpetual position at a discount and then manage or close it. If that strategy performs well, it can contribute to the vault’s performance. But these strategies can also lose money — so the displayed APR can change, and past performance does not guarantee future results.
How do you deposit into the NLP Vault?
First, make sure you have USDT0 available in your Nado account. Open the NLP Vault page from the navigation menu, where you can view the current displayed APR, total value deposited, your NLP balance, and the USDT0 available to deposit. Click Deposit, enter the amount, confirm, and approve the transaction. Once complete, your NLP position appears on the vault page.
Remember that the displayed APR is an estimate based on recent performance — it can move up or down.
What happens after you deposit?
When you deposit USDT0, you receive ownership of a proportional share of the vault. If the vault is worth 1 million USDT0 and your deposit represents 1%, you own about 1% of it. If the vault’s total value rises, your share may rise; if it loses value, your share may fall. You’re not receiving a fixed daily payment — the value of your position changes with the vault’s overall performance.
How do you withdraw from the NLP Vault?
Open the vault page and click Withdraw. Enter how much of your position to redeem (part or all), and review the estimated USDT0 you’ll receive. This is based on your share of the vault’s value at the time of withdrawal, so it may differ from your original deposit. Confirm and approve the transaction; the redeemed USDT0 returns to your Nado account balance.
What risks should beginners understand?
Risk | What it means |
|---|---|
Rewards are not fixed | The APR changes with market conditions and vault performance |
Your deposit can lose value | If the vault’s strategies lose money, your position may fall |
Market risk remains | Diversification across strategies does not eliminate loss |
Different from holding USDT0 | Once deposited, your value depends on your share of the vault |
NLP may suit users who hold USDT0 they don’t currently need for trading, want exposure to Nado’s liquidity strategies, and are comfortable with variable rewards and the possibility of loss. It may not suit funds needed for near-term expenses or users expecting a fixed, risk-free reward.
Key takeaways
NLP is a shared vault that supports liquidity and liquidations on Nado.
Participants receive a proportional share of the vault’s performance — not a fixed rate.
The displayed APR is an estimate and can change; deposits can lose value.
Withdrawals are based on your share of the vault’s value at the time, not your original deposit.
